Ismelka
is a cultural anthropologist with a creative, entrepreneurial spirit and whip-smart sense of style. Her areas of interest and professional experience encompass local & international politics, business development & partnerships in arts and culture.
Ismelka holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University, where she focused on Anthropology and Public Policy, and later received her Master of Arts degree from The New School where she studied International Affairs.
Based in New York City, Ismelka's creative work as a Freelance Fashion Stylist has appeared in a number of publications, such as Glamour Magazine: Spain, the M — Dash, and Design Scene. Currently, Ismelka is the Community Manager for The Kinswomen podcast, an anti-racism podcast. She’s also developing her own podcast, El Patio — bringing her community to talk about current events, pop culture, and life struggles.
